On March 12, one of NCSU's most prominent student leaders was diagnosed with lukemia. On April 3, 2008, dozens of Nick Shultz's friends showed their support by gathering at a house near campus, bringing food and donations. Some friends even shaved their heads to show their support.http://files.technicianonline.com/Schultz/
